I can’t find 1001 nights in original Arabic. Only simplified arabic and
kids books!!!!!!!
Astonishing how ignorant and condescending certain so-called western
scholars are in their attitude towards the great Arabic/Islamic literary
tradition and civilization as a whole. No wonder the western dismissive
attitude vis a vis the rest of the world cultures, particularly the Arabic
culture is disrespectful, violent, and at best outright racist. Fact:
Before the Renaissance, before Dante and Einstein the Arab/Muslim mind had
soared high in the heavens of enlightenment and knowledge in all of its
branches including good manners and dessert after dinner. In fact without
the genius of the Arabs the world would still be in the Dark today and, as
an equitable western scholar put it, had the Moorish civilization survived,
rightly referred to as the garden civilization the internet would be two
hundred years old today. Skimpy, cheap, scholarly and at best a very
mediocre lecture and lecturer!
Muslims do not worship The Qur’an. Allah is the originator and creator of
all things including The Qur’an. The Qur’an which means Recitation in
Arabic is the speech of Allah. And God knows best.
Worship quran? Who is that donkey lecturing this lecture?
“The dropped out the vowels, which is cheating.”
It’s the same as Hebrew in that respect. They didn’t drop the vowels. A
literate speaker will understand the grammar rules for applying vowels
which are taught to schoolchildren.
I would not recommend this lecture to anyone. Essentially everything he
says about Muslim theology is wrong.
I don’t know where this guy gets his “facts”. Uthman, who lived during the
life of Muhammad created the voweled version of the Quran that we have
today. He wasn’t removed from Muhammad at all. In fact, there is an
extant copy of the Quran in Instanbul from his reign. There were already
people alive who had memorized the Quran when he started distributing the
voweled version. What there isn’t is any record of the worst enemies of
Islam at that time claiming that the Uthman version was new or
significantly different from what came before. Given the importance that
Muslims place on the Quran, such a dispute, which never occured would have
been crushing.
I can’t seem to find anything about the historian you mentioned right after
Herodotus at 41:40 and 41:41. How do you spell his name? I’m lost! Please
help and clarify this.
When Noah, the prophet of God, was building the first ship in history, the
people that he was calling to Allah but refused was mocking him and his
ship but the real mockery was on them from his point of view. Ever lasting
gardens is a reality that the believers will enjoy one day and it’s a
beautiful concept in any culture period. I didn’t finish the lecture so I
don’t know what else you talked about.
the arab where in spain for 500 yrs ….. not a couple of yrs ??????? is
this is a lecture ??? i could have done it better and i’m not even
Arab
The Noble Quran is simply God’s own Words And Speech, and Islam never been
through a dark age for us to be (enlightened) again. The opposite actually
happened, when we left the teaching of the Quran and prophet Muhammad we
had a falling off and God gave other nations the power to fight us (a
classic people of God story)
Mohammed was inhaling hashish and opium while they were in the desert
with tents …. that was a way to write … the Quran and the bible their
roots judaism … and judaism is Egyptian Egyptian his roots is sumerian

Working! Thanks
Absolutely – so many significant figures, I had to focus on a few in such a
short lecture.
It seems to be working on my two computers. Hope it works soon for you.
Love that picture.
