Brisbane, Aus. (PRWEB) March 26, 2015
When Rowena Jayne was hospitalized with a bleeding colon at 28 years old from years of struggle with an eating disorder, she knew she must transform her life.
12 years later Jayne has used raw food and yoga to build a new relationship with herself and her body. Her new book, “The Joy of Real Food” shares over 150 raw or minimally cooked recipes as steps to take on the journey for being accountable for our own health.
“I believe we can learn to listen to the messages of the body and therefore improve and maintain our health and wellbeing,” Jayne said.
Jayne is also a yoga teacher for 10 years and is a qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist and has studied Ayurvedic Medicine. She advices combining a diet of real food with other holistic lifestyle practices such as yoga as a solution to illness, arthritis, lethargy, disease, stress and unhappiness that exists in our society.
“Not only does yoga and holistic living enhance our health and nutrition, but it can allow an individual to change their mindset, be fulfilled, live their authentic truth and have courage to follow their own path or destiny,” Jayne said.
The goal of this book is to empower people to improve their own lives in multiple ways through diet and lifestyle choices.
