Today Awesome Stories, the primary source-based classroom resource has released 600 new “story guides”: web guides designed to support classroom lessons complete with assignment ideas and student progress monitoring capabilities. New stories cover events such as the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, the phenomenon of Alexander Hamilton’s resurgence in popularity in contemporary US, and the first photograph produced and how to make a “selfie” using the same process.
Awesome Stories uses primary sources and media culled from film, literature, archives, and art to contextualize history for today’s student. Awesome Stories is also the developer of the Awesome Search tm, a proprietary search engine for fast and accurate content searches.
Awesome Stories’ founder and chief content creator is Carole Bos, renowned trial attorney. Bos uses the same rigorous standards of research and teaching that she brings to informing a jury and setting up a case as she does in presenting Story Guides.
Deborah Bond-Upson veteran education technology pioneer and education advocate has joined Awesome Stories to rebrand, relaunch, and promote Awesome Stories vast content and mission.
