Discovery K12 Launches “Non-Common Core” Campaign
Monarch Beach, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2014
Discovery K12, an online homeschool platform and curriculum provider for kindergarten through twelfth grade launches new “Non-Common Core” advertising campaign.
The campaign is designed to reach parents with children in K12 who are opposed to the national Common Core standards. Common Core is one of many reasons parents are opting to homeschool this coming year.
A series of public announcements, print, and digital media concepts to inform parents and promote the company’s Non-Common Core curriculum will drive the campaign.
In addition to promoting Non-Common Core, the campaign will also promote freedom to self-educate, and personalized education. The total budget of the campaign is not disclosed, but the majority will be spent on digital and the campaign will run throughout the academic year.
Unlike its competitors, K12, Inc. and Connections Academy, Discovery K12 is serving the market that is looking for an alternative to Common Core and a more classic education.
Homeschooling is one of the fastest growing sectors in education with enrollments growing seven times faster than public school. Discovery K12 offers a full online curriculum including reading/literature, language arts, math, history/social studies, science, visual/performing arts, and physical education.
Earlier this month, Discovery K12 officially announced its 2014-2015 Non-Common Core Curriculum, which can be viewed at the company’s website: http://DiscoveryK12.com.
