First Choice Emergency Room, the largest network of independent freestanding emergency rooms in the United States, named Mohammad Siddiqi, MD as the Medical Director of its new Friendswood facility.

Dr. Siddiqi received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City – School of Medicine, a combined BA/MD program he started directly after high school. Prior to joining First Choice Emergency Room, Dr. Siddiqi served as the Emergency Room Director for the Cycle IV Chest Pain Accreditation Committee at Methodist St. John and as the Emergency Room Medical Director at Methodist St. John in Houston, Texas. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and lives in Friendswood with his wife, who is also a physician, and their four children.

All First Choice Emergency Room facilities are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The facilities are staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and emergency trained registered nurses.
