A lab was about flame tests. Students were given .5M plastic containers of
9 different nitrate solutions. A question at the end asks, “Using a
chemistry textbook, find the formulas for the compounds that are 1M and
used in the flame tests.”
What do think this question means? Am I just supposed to write the chemical
formula? The formula is already on the label of each of the liquid
compounds. For example, the formula for cupric nitrate would be Cu(NO3)2.
Is that all this is? Maybe the teacher did not know that the formulas were
written along with the name on each label?
holy shit thank you so so much you have no idea how damn lost i have been
in my chem classes just sitting there like an idiot this helped a ton you
explain it so easy where as my professor makes it seem like rocket science
good lord
I would like to say thank you so much for helping me with this. You helped
me out by so much in 7min. Then my teacher could in a hour worth of class
time. I think I’ll do really well on my test tomorrow because of this.
Oh wow, she goes into details. I like :)
For Calcium Carbonate, Can someone please explain why Carbonate has a
charge of -2?
So does the nonmetal or polyatomic ion in ionic bonding always end in ide??
or can it be ide, ite, and ate?? and also how is carbonate CO3??
why is there a 3 in carbonate?
wish u were my teacher
My teacher could’ve just shown me this and I would’ve been set
Nice explaination…..
3:11 thats what dont get. If the -1 moves to Mg….why doesnt it say Mg-1?
Very smart!!!!
Thanks so much! You did a much better job at explaining this than my
chemistry teacher. :-)
I’m so late, but this helps me out SO MUCH
So extremely helpful. Thank you!
Thank you. I am a high school English teacher tutoring a student who had a
medical illness. We are working on balancing equations, but couldn’t figure
out how to get the actual element subscripts….this video is amazing. You
really helped me get it….now she will be able to catch up to her class
and hopefully pass!
Very helpful thank you very much!
awesome, helped alot
why is H2O2 called Hydrogen Peroxide? why not di Hydrogen di Oxide?? some
one please answer
wooooaaahh.. this helps me a lot.. thank you so much.. :D
my chemistry teacher sucks ass, can’t teach for shit
It’s very helpful. Thank you
thanks dude. well taught i would give u an A+
OMG I am in debt to you I have ben struggling for weeks and this has made
it so much easier to remember !!! THANK you!!!
omg !! thank so much !!!
Sir u are amazing.I am confident about volumetric analysis after watching
ur video.Plzz upload salt analysis i am very doubtful about it
it helpful to student
this demonstration has helped me a lot …….thank u veeramalu
after watching this video i am confident for my practical examination
you are just marvelous sir……
sir please upload all practicals of chemistry if possible physics too
because my health is bad so i’m absent for many days so i request you and
also you’ll get ratings and i will tell my friends to see your video.
