Kazakhstan is half of Asia?!?! Seriously !?!?
What book is he using and are the lectures available online
he seems like a really good lecturer
what a waste of an hour
I hate this guy
excellent teacher..some of his words contain the real meaning of
education…
p.s i wish i could study at lse so many great faces for teachers, you can
gain so much knowledge!!
enjoyed every second of the video, he doesn’t teach you what you want to
learn from a textbook (in which you can you just read an economics
textbook) rather than sharing his life/teaching experience and what
students should be mentally prepared for in commencing the course. thanks
for posting this!
Excellent lecturer, I liked the presentation.
The last five minutes of this great talk is golden advice!
Hey camera man, when someone is speaking, try to keep the camera on them,
their face and not cutting their head off all the time. Good thing this
teacher is a great speaker or else I would have turned it off. I really
enjoyed this talk.
Signing for a Master today…
One of the worst prof’s in economics I have every come across. He knows his
stuff but is horrible when it comes to his study guide and material. I have
taken other introduction to economics and they are pretty straight
forward. His questions are weirdly worded and often 1/5 of what he says in
the question relates to the actual solution. He factors in wage and price
levels into a question. yet does not factor them in into his solution. The
man does not focus on things that are related to the study guide. He will
talk about elasticity in its basic sense with some calculus proofs and then
have no questions to illustrate that , then bring it up in the exam. One of
the worst professors I ever had . I heard they are editing the course
structure because more then half of the people continue to fail. I wonder
why that is ?Its the prof not the material. He has a really unrelated way of
relating economics. I am sure he knows his stuff but a horrible professor
May I know this lecturer name? His lecture is pretty interesting.

A footnote to Plato. Good to watch an economics professor more interested
in advancing economics rather than rehashing the stuff we already – think –
we know, but is not working post-GFC.
I think the professor confused El Dorado with Shangri-La.
May i ask, if you have the time to answer – would you recommend doing a
economics degree – what does it entail and why did you do it? Thank you.
Damn this guy is left wing xD
Does he still teach at the LSE? It says he’s a visiting fellow :O
WE have to think. Thank you for that point of view. honest. open. inspiring.
This guy is Mr.Girish Menon fucking friend. Fucking left wing
“To achieve success you must be depressed. If you’re happy, something is
wrong.” – Prof. Amos Witztum great quote!
Intro into economics or typical condescending prof. who thinks his students
need constant direction in life and can only learn through useless
metaphors?
A very unusual way of giving the lecture; very efficient and entertaining
The guy is brilliant. I feel enlightened.
