In 2007, author Johnny Wong joined and participated in three months of prayer, worship and evangelism at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) at Kansas City. He prayed, attended evangelist meetings, helped spread Christian Tracts, presented literatures, and participated in soup kitchens and clothing drives for the homeless. I had been to New Jersey, Toronto in Canada, Boston and Hong Kong but IHOP in Kansas City is for me the greatest joy. It was one of the best experiences I ever encountered.”

The entire experience wasn’t just all about prayer, worship and sharing about one’s pains. Wong writes, “We had meals, parties and dinners together. One time, we all went out to celebrate at a Kansas City steak house restaurant. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, sharing the space with the FMS girls and guys.”

Illuminating and entertaining to read, the letters contained in “Miracles at IHOP” brings forth a tale of how a man living in the shadows finally saw the light amongst his brothers and sisters in Christ.
