Keynotes Announced for PODD: Partnership Opportunities in Drug Delivery Event

The Conference Forum is delighted to announce its top-tier industry keynote speakers for the 5th annual Partnership Opportunities in Drug Delivery (PODD) event to be held Oct. 5 – 6 at the InterContinental Boston.
The two-day event will be kicked-off by serial entrepreneur and renowned chemical engineer, Dr. Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT. The Langer lab is the largest biomedical engineering laboratory in the world, with more than 100 researchers and annual grants in excess of $ 10 million. Dr. Langer’s PODD keynote address will focus on nanotechnology, a field that has the potential to revolutionize the way we detect and treat human diseases. Dr. Langer has been involved with the founding of multiple nanotechnology-based companies including BIND Therapeutics, Blend Therapeutics, Kala Pharmaceuticals, and Selecta Biosciences.
We are equally excited to welcome Keynote, Dr. Bahija Jallal, Head of MedImmune and Executive Vice President, AstraZeneca and her colleague, Dr. Anand Subramony, Head of Drug Delivery, MedImmune, for a joint industry talk. Dr. Jallal will discuss the company’s pipeline and strategy, while Dr. Subramony will highlight some of the 15+ drug delivery collaborations the company has engaged in over the past year.
Mr. Stéphane Bancel, CEO, Moderna Therapeutics will kick-off Day Two of the PODD event, as our featured CEO keynote. Moderna Therapeutics is a leading innovator of messenger RNA therapeutics and has been recognized by CNBC as the country’s most ambitious and innovative companies changing the economy and overall business landscape.
