LinkedIn Names American University Among Top Universities For Media Professionals

The business networking site LinkedIn has ranked American University fourth on its list of the best graduate universities in the nation for media professionals. The ranking shows that American is one of the best institutions at launching graduates into desirable and high-profile media jobs, alongside Columbia University, the University of California, Berkeley, and Northwestern University.
LinkedIn analyzed millions of alumni profiles to create the list. They researched the top companies for media professionals and also looked at where media professionals on LinkedIn went to university. They then calculated and compared the percentage of alumni with media jobs at the top companies for each university.
This is another honor for American University. American is ranked among the best national universities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 edition of America’s Best Colleges and is also named Best Northeastern College by the Princeton Review for 2015.
