Magnolia Green, a top selling resort-inspired community in Chesterfield County, celebrated their golf course grand opening with residents this morning. Serving as the centerpiece of Magnolia Green, the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature championship golf course was finished last month and is officially open to the public.

Timmons Group, an ENR Top 500 design firm, is the principal design consultant for Magnolia Green and is working with the developer, iStar Financial on this multi-phased project. Along with the finished golf course, the community also offers thousands of homes, commercial and office space, a 3,800 square foot Welcome Center, and a Recreation Center. Timmons Group provided off-site utilities, transportation, master planning, on-site infrastructure and subdivision design, surveying, environmental permits, and rezoning.

Timmons Group has been working on Magnolia Green for over 15 years. When the community is complete, nearly 3,550 homes will be offered, as well as over half a million square feet of commercial and office space.
