Wow! I just realized that I likely met Michio Kaku nearly 5 decades ago!
A good friend of mine was involved with the Japanese-American community in
San Jose back then, and we both were studying Physics, both worked at
Westinghouse, both roughly the same age as Michio. Now, I wish I had a
time-machine…
The crash of 2008 was due to the over confidence in the US housing market,
sub prime mortgage lending and chief executives running banks without any
track record in finance.
