MobilityWorks Opens New Mobility Dealership Location in Highland Park New Jersey
Richfield, OH (PRWEB) December 30, 2014
The leading retailer of wheelchair accessible vehicles in the United States officially opens its newest location in Highland Park serving the greater Newark New Jersey area on Monday, January 5th. Highland Park is located in Middlesex County and borders the towns of Edison, New Brunswick, and Piscataway. It is just 23 miles south of Newark Liberty International Airport.
Over the years, MobilityWorks has built the most recognizable brand name in the mobility industry. They are the largest dealer in the country of vans that are specially converted for wheelchair accessibility, including Dodge, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, and Toyota minivans. The vans are equipped with either side entry or rear entry wheelchair ramps. Most ramps are automated that deploy with push-button controls. Manual options are also available.
“This new location is going to make it much easier for us to serve thousands of people in the Newark metro area that need these special vehicles and want to enjoy the same freedom that everyone else has,” said Bill Koeblitz, MobilityWorks President/CEO.
MobilityWorks of Highland Park NJ is located at 211 Woodbridge Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904 with easy access from Route 1 and the I-95 New Jersey Turnpike.
MobilityWorks employs specially trained Certified Mobility Consultants to demonstrate adaptive vehicle options to its consumer clients, most who are persons with a physical disability. They also advise on resources for financing and help to identify grant opportunities. MobilityWorks also plays an important role in providing accessible vehicles, scooter lifts and driving aids to disabled veterans who are eligible for the Veterans Administration automobile and adaptive equipment program.
MobilityWorks Commercial is Ford Motor Company’s largest mobility upfitter in the industry serving clients in all 50 states and in other countries. The company also manufactures its own Ford Transit Connect and Dodge/Chrysler conversions with a rear entry ramp. MobilityWorks has manufacturing facilities in Akron, OH and Kansas City, MO.
