PeroxyChem announced that effective December 1, 2014, or as contracts and agreements permit, it will increase prices for persulfates produced in its Tonawanda, N.Y., and Rheinfelden, Germany, plants. The amount of the increase will be $ 0.04 per pound for Ammonium Persulfate, $ 0.08 per pound for Sodium Persulfate and $ 0.12 per pound for Potassium Persulfate products made in Tonawanda. For products made in the Rheinfelden, Germany, plant the increases are €75 per metric ton for Ammonium Persulfate and €130 per metric ton for Sodium Persulfate.

This price increase is required to invest and maintain assets and capabilities to safely and reliably meet the growing demand for persulfates as well as to partially offset increased production and other business costs.
