ProviderWeb Capital Adds Brian Zwerner as CEO and Further Expands Team

ProviderWeb Capital is pleased to announce Brian Zwerner as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. ProviderWeb has also added Analysts Michael Griffin and Dean Baraso. Mr. Zwerner, a 20 year veteran of the investment banking industry, has held senior roles at Bank of America, Wachovia Capital Markets, and FIG Partners, a boutique investment banking firm located in Atlanta. Mr. Zwerner has worked with many large institutions and with a variety of fixed-income financial instruments; his knowledge of capital markets and his financial acumen will make him an invaluable asset to the ProviderWeb team. Mr. Zwerner is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Michael Griffin, one of two recent analyst hires for ProviderWeb, helps run day-to-day operations of the firm, which include client servicing, due diligence, prospective client outreach, and underwriting. Mr. Griffin has previously held positions for a boutique hospitality investment banking & brokerage firm as well as an NGO specializing in commerce throughout the Arab world. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, Mr. Griffin received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Banking & Finance as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arabic Language & Literature.
Dean Baraso, a recent analyst hire for ProviderWeb, will join Mr. Griffin as the company expands its outreach throughout the nation, with various products tailored to small and mid-sized healthcare firms. Mr. Baraso’s duties include client servicing, new client acquisition, financial modeling, and due diligence in order to help maintain the firm’s day-to-day operations. Mr. Baraso has held previous positions related to inventory management, commercial real estate analysis, and sales throughout the United States. A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts & Sciences, Mr. Baraso received his Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics; he is a member of the Mu Sigma Rho Honor Society, which is designed to honor excellence in the field of statistics.
