Los alumnos utilizan la tecnología en su día a día FUERA de las aulas. ¿Por
qué no ande utilizarla para aprender? Si (aprender) es lo que van hacer
durante (la mayor parte de) su vida.
There are long term benefits to group learning and interaction. Through
many stages of growing up we are forced to work with groups of people from
playing sports, to being a part of clubs and organizations, to the
workplace. Having an education curriculum that invites interactive group
learning and technology is a way to introduce this to children at a younger
age. Being accustom to this type of working together can have positive
outcomes as adults.
Yes I agree with you that Smart Boards are a good way to integrate
technology into the classroom. Your idea of group technology is interesting
because it also forces the child to interact. However, how will we be sure
that the teachers will integrate it in beneficial ways?
I think you have some good points. What are some examples of technologies
used in classrooms today and how do they relate to technologies children
are exposed to at home?
In the past, a classroom would be defined as a place where one learns or
gains experience, but in today’s society, the classroom is much more than
that. Todays classrooms are filled with different types of technologies
that are used throughout the curriculum. Not only are technologies being
used within the classroom, but as stated in the video, “students are
already exposed to technology daily outside of the classroom”. If
technology is used within the class, it will create a more productive
learning environment my using strategies that the students are interested
in. Technology has changed the way students think, compose and learn.
Another great video on technology in the classroom, and how it can be an
essential concept for instruction, content, projects, and hands on learning
experience.
