He commits the logical fallacy of Reification, which illustrates what
happens when theoretical scientists are not grounded in logic.
Staying within the fallacy of Reification, however, It is more accurate to
say that the universe is actually physics and chemistry equations (that
these equations are the actually physical reality), since numbers by
themselves do not represent anything other than open quantities (of nothing
in particular). As it is, reality is relationships and potential
relationships, however we describe and symbolize them.
Is there any value to what is presented here, fallacious as it is? Yes –
that we may not be looking at problems with the right perspective, or at
least that perspectives are tools, and we should have many of them (with
which to explore, and then endeavor to understand, the unknown).
