Texas-Based Software Firm Honored for Impressive Growth and Entrepreneurial Spirit by Two Nationally Recognized Universities
Bryan/College Station, TX and Baton Rouge, LA (PRWEB) October 24, 2014
JBKnowledge, an information technology services and products provider to the construction, risk management, and insurance industries continues to exhibit a strong entrepreneurial spirit by being recognized at both Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University’s Aggie 100 and Louisiana State University Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute’s LSU 100. Founded in 2001 by Texas A&M Aggie James M. Benham and father LSU Tiger James T. “Jim” Benham, JBKnowledge is an impressive seven-time Aggie 100 honoree and a two-time LSU 100 honoree.
“Anyone in Texas who knows me, knows how much I love Texas A&M. Anyone who grew up with me in Louisiana, knows how much my family (and I when they aren’t playing the Aggies) love LSU. To be recognized by both of these institutions is an incredible honor. These awards are a result of the values, education and integrity that both Texas A&M and LSU instilled in my father and consequently myself, and we could not be more proud to bring them home,” stated JBKnowledge President, James Benham.
With a strong commitment to research and development, innovation, and adapting to industry technology needs, the firm is a proven leader in building intuitive solutions for builders, risk managers and insurance carriers alike. Since 2001, JBKnowledge has grown from from its Aggieland headquarters in Bryan/College Station, to have offices across the western hemisphere, serving clients in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and Middle East.
“My son attended Texas A&M University, a great institution, but our family was raised on Louisiana State University. To have both universities recognize the company we’ve built together is humbling, to say the very least. Winning an award from the very people that set you on the path to achieve it is an incredible feeling,” added JBKnowledge Executive Vice President, Jim Benham.
Through its commitment to continually remain at the forefront of its industry and give back to the communities of LSU and Texas A&M Alumni that propelled it there, the firm has been able to find success through both good and bad economic conditions. As a multi-time honoree of both prestigious awards, the firm has proven that solid business ideas, conservative financial management, strong character, a committed family of employees, and dedication pay off.
